I am a poet and textile artist based in Belgium, where I have recently returned after a decade living and working in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jerusalem, and Uganda.
I am particularly interested in contemporary poetry: on the page, visually, through sound, film and performance.
My poems have appeared in Ink, Sweat & Tears, the Seen as Read anthology (ed. SJ Fowler), Live Canon Anthology 2020, 3:AM Magazine, Writers Kingston, the Book of Penteract, Harpy Hybrid Review, Wet Grain, Mercurius, Overground Underground and Needle.
My first collection, Found & Lost came out in 2022 (Kingston University Press). A solo exhibition of textile poetry building on that collection ran at the Green Door Gallery in Brussels, in 2023 and I exhibited in two other group shows there too. My new pamphlet, Have Needle, Will – word and textile poems – is out now with Moormaid Press. You can see the launch here
